King Arthur’s students reap the rewards of rapid improvement

For the second consecutive year, King Arthur’s GCSE results have exceeded expectations, including a number of students achieving the very highest 8 and 9 GCSE grades. These results are testament to the dedication and commitment of King Arthur’s staff and the exceptional students, who have been rightly rewarded. These results will enable students to access all the exciting next steps for which they have signed up.

Outstanding individual achievements include:

Headteacher Jim Gower said, “I am immensely proud of our students’ achievements and want to thank our staff for all their hard work; in addition, I would like to thank our parents and carers for their support and commitment to ensure King Arthur’s students have reached their full potential. Our students’ results mean that they can move on successfully and confidently with the next stage of their educational journey. These results are indicative of the all-round educational experience on offer at King Arthur’s School. We are proud to offer a wide-ranging extracurricular provision, which included a life-changing trip to Borneo this summer for a group of Year 11 students. There has been a huge amount of work completed over the summer holidays to improve and upgrade the school environment, including brand new toilet facilities for students; we are also very excited to welcome lots of new staff and a large intake of new Year 7 students for the next academic year”.
