Pupils at St Mary the Virgin Primary School make COP26 promises
COP26 – OUR CLIMATE OUR FUTURE
During the 2 weeks that COP26 was taking place each class at St Mary the Virgin Primary in Gillingham, took part in activities to raise awareness of the summit, climate change and its impact on our planet.
Every child then created a leaf with their promise to the planet and a message they want world leaders to hear at COP26.
These leaves were then placed on trees as part of a forest of promises, and displayed outside our school hall for parents to come and read the promises that were made.
