Admissions Policy Consultation

Consultation on the SAST Admissions Policy 2019/20

26th November 2018 to 7th January 2019

 

Dear Parents, Carers and Stakeholders,

Sherborne Area Schools’ Trust is the admissions authority for all schools within the Trust.  Under section 1.42 of the Schools Admission Code 2014, SAST schools are obliged to consult with parents, carers and other stakeholders about the content of its Admissions Policy, irrespective of the policy being changed, at least every seven years.  This consultation must be for a minimum period of 6 weeks and should take place between 1 October and 31 January.

There have been no changes to the Admissions Policy or any criteria for entry in recent years.  However, you are respectfully invited to review the current policy and provide any comments directly to the Trust by email or by post to the following address by 7th January 2019:
